CoralVue High Seas 202B Dual Prop Powerheads featured

Installation and Operation These are the largest powerheads that CoralVue puts out. They are two power heads in one, giving off about 3000 gallons per hour of gentle, efficient flow. Installation was a breeze and setting up was even easier. At less than $50 a unit, I purchased 4 of them.

Performance vs. Expectations They are quiet running and provide a nice, wide flow stream. They do need to be cleaned from time-to-time, but that's any powerhead. I was expecting them to be more solidly constructed. They have ceramic shafts and the plastic is brittle. I'm always afraid to do thorough maintenance on them because of how flimsy the plastic is. The magnets are not that strong for this heavy of a powerhead. I have a 150g tank that has 3/4" thick glass, and these magnets are poor for 202B model.

Value for money For the money, you really can't go wrong. Massive flow for very little money. I don't expect that they will last that long; but for this price, if they go out in a couple years, it's not that expensive to replace them all.

Customer Support CoralVue is a pleasure to deal with. Even though they purchased these powerheads from a Chinese company, they stand behind them like they do all of their other products.

Liked about it 1) Excellent flow, 2) Directional design, 3) Cheap, 4) Energy consumption

Didn't like 1) What's with the super short power cord, CoralVue? 2) Cheap plastic parts, 3) Ceramic shafts, 4) Stick out like a sore thumb in your tank

Coralvue High Seas Power Head

Installation and Operation These are Great I have a 3/4 thick 150 gallon tank and the magnets are strong enough to hold the pump with out issue. To install place pump attach magnet plug in direct water flow and your done. I want to order two more for the tank.

Performance vs. Expectations These are great there is not a lot of vacuum from the suction area because of the open design. it gentely pushes the water from the propeller but in a large volume.

Value for money I believe these are a great value for the money and made of high quality. they use titamium shafts so there is no rust and no chatter if used with a wave maker. lots of volume for a cheap price.

Customer Support Their customer service is great I ordered my pump and it came the plastic housing that attached the pump to the magnet was broken, I called and the shipped the part second day mail not problem

Liked about it strong magnets, smooth start and stop, three prong power cord, UL approved, easy to clean and almost maintenance free.

Didn't like short power cord.
