The SeaChem Reef Staus:Calcium test kit is a great means of taking measurements to maintain your calcium levels in your marine aquarium. The kit is very well thought out, similar to a labratory test kit, and includes everything needed to perform each test(with the exception of a small amount of DI water needed for dilution).

The instructions for testing are very straight forward and are provided in two different formats. They're written out in bullet statements as well as spelled out with pictoral diagrams making it easier to follow.

The tests are very accurate and included with the kit is a calcium reference solution that you can use to ensure everything is in spec. This allows you to complete a test at a given calcium concentration to make sure you get the correct value.

Unlike others, the test kit is packed within a very nice, durable plastic case to keep everything safe. All of the titrants are bottled in opaque containers to pervent any damage by UV lighting, most other brands are bottled in clear containers.

All in all, this is a fantastic, accurate test kit that boasts some great features such as easy to follow instructions, a reference solution for accuracy and a durable storage container.
