Strange testing apparatus, not sure if it works

I got this because i was gong to use a freshwater tank for a reef set up and the tank had been dosed with copper before. this test has two little packets for the reagents. the weird thing is that they has very small writing on the ultra small packet that denotes which one goes first. the testing "tube" is actually a long skinny rectangular container which is awkward to handle. this is the first test kit i used of theirs and i probably won't get another one. i have no idea if the readings were accurate, but they showed 0 copper and since one of my reef has died after being set up they are probably accurate.
