This test works well, it's easy to understand the directions, the results seem to be accurate when cross referenced against other brands in identical testing windows, bottle 2 should be bigger or bottle 1 smaller. i go through bottle 2 and still have 1/4-1/3 of the bottle 1 leftover

you use way more of one bottle than the other over time so you end up with test solution left. It would be good for them to sell the bottles seperately perhaps, or just make one bottle smaller. I don't know. Other than that it's a good test kit.

Cheap but works

This product works great, and great value for money. Does not last long enough and before I know it time to get another. Recognizing color difference between the purple and blue between one drop and the next is difficult to determine.

API Calcium

This test is almost a waste of time. You have to do a single drop then shake then read then repeat. Save your money and get a pin point monitor. |

Great and inexpensive test kits
| General |
I use API kit regularly. They are cheap, quick and easy to use. To be safe I do also test with another higher quality tests just to keep a closer eye on my water parameters.
All in all for the proce and ease of use they are great tests! |
