Not Bad for the Price

I don't mind the API Freshwater Master Kit, it does give you the general idea. It is better than the test strips, but only marginally. This is the kit that I have used for my freshwater tanks since pinpoint accuracy is not an issue for me. For the hobbyist that wants pinpoint accuracy, this is not the test kit for you. For the beginner, the is the best option for your money. |

Great and inexpensive test kits
| General |
I use API kit regularly. They are cheap, quick and easy to use. To be safe I do also test with another higher quality tests just to keep a closer eye on my water parameters.
All in all for the proce and ease of use they are great tests! |

Not bad for the basics

Entry level, low complexity. Clear instructions. May not be the most precise kit, but if you are only keeping basic easy-care freshwater fish it will be good enough for you. |
