I have about 50lbs in my 55gal reef giving it the beauty of a miniature ocean beach. It is easy to move and shape. When kept up it stays much cleaner then crushed coral.

You will need to consider water flow and your live stock. Too much flow kicks up and moves the sand all over. Not enough flow and you will see it discolor quickly. Having plenty of sand sifting pets is a must.

Very Good Live Sand

This was the perfect live sand for my 10g nano. It works great and looks great. I love this stuff and would recommend it. |
