mixes up at 450 ppm ca, excellent source of trace elements

how it always seems to never completely dissolve, leaves behind a little sediment that dissolves over a long period of time
also have to monitor your ca levels to make sure they dont get too high

Red Sea Coral Pro Salt mix

This is my favorite salt mix, it is a little pricy but I love the increased calc levels. According to the tables at an S.G. od 1.025 which is where I maintain my S.G. the calc level is 480 PPM. I did notice that I did not have to dose as much two part to keep my calc levels up. I apologize as I would have kept a record of this but it has been over a year since I changed salt. |

High calc levels right out of the bucket.
I definitely noticed increased growth compared to the regular I/O I was using before.

Mixes rather slow, I mix for 48 hours compared to 24 with I/O.
A little more expensive than Reef Crystals.
