This salt is a great salt to work with in this hobby. It mixes really well and contains all the right elements. This is the very first salt I ever used and liked it from the start. It was average priced but readily available at any aquarium store. My only problem with it is the packaging. It really needs to come with a resealable bag within the box. The salt I had clumped together because air was getting into the bag. This made it much more difficult to scoop and to mix. Other than this issue it really is a great salt.

Ever since I switched over to this product from the one from petco I have found it is more reliable. I have been using this product for a couple months and am extremely satisfied with it. I would never switch to another product. This product is also great because it is sold at excellent prices no matter where you get it. You can be sure you are getting a quality product when you decide to use this product.

I love how fast this product dissolves very fast in water when you are preparing whether you have circulation in the water or not. I also liked how this salt does not affect anything in my tank like other products have.

The Original and still the Best

Instant Ocean Sea Salt has been the leader in the industry for years . Why would you trust anything else.Others Salts add extra this and more of that to sell their salts.I like having a Salt that's "Backed by Science and Preferred by Experts".If I want extra things in my salt water ,I'll add those myself. If you want to use a Sea Salt that's Superior to all the others try Instant Ocean |

Good Product and less expensive than others.

This produce is a great value for the money I think it works just as well as the other salts on the market and is usually less expensive.

Directions are accurate. 1/2 cup per gallon. Mixes well in ro/water. I recently mix 160 gallon bucket and it was absorbed in the water in about 20 min. after mixing the salinity was right on the money. the fish and corals always look great after a water change.

Instant Ocean is the only salt I have used, however I would not use anything else. Works great and dissolves pretty quickly.

Thoughts on Instant ocean salt

need salt and low on $'s and lfs is'nt open go w/ this. Can't go work with 10.00 for a box of salt to mix a total of 25 gallons if water. |

Its cheap i purchased this when i was on vacation and i knew when i got how needed to do a water change and had no salt...purchase salt from petco for 10.00 great price personally
