Good Refugium Option

This is good refugium option for the hobbyist that don't want to locate a refugium in their sump. Be advised that this product does have its limitations. I hung this refugium on the front of my sump and replaced the pump with a MJ900 connected to the refugium intake via clear vinyl tubing. It provided an excellent sump volume expansion, as well as a place for the cultivation of pods and other micro flora/fauna. This little setup can also function as a small mangrove swamp is desired. |

great build, shabby design.

Enjoyed the extra volume but didn't enjoy the settling. Also when you vacuum the macro can fall apart and be released into your display tank. |

Battled with cyano weeks after installation. I think the pump flow was too low to work efficiently. was difficult to vacuum the detritus behind the tank.
