They just kinda sit there....
Comments
I have had two pajama cardinals in my tank for close to three years now. All they do is sit there in the same place day and night. I do not even see them eat but I've had them soo ling they must be eating something. I have found that as smaller juveniles they seem to have brighter more contrasting color as they have aged their scales have become very noticeable and almost unsightly. None the less I do love having them they are not your normal super colorful and active reef fish but I still love having them. Good fish for just about any sized tank Just do not expect too much action from them.

They do have a unique body shape and coloration.
The keep to them selves and bother no one. and nothing seems to bother them.
They are affordable. I think I picked up min for about $25 each.

They just do not do much. If you like active fish stay away from them.
Their colors fade and their scales become too prominent as they age.

Great school fish, worth the money!!
Comments
Very easy fish to keep. Would definitely recommend getting a group of them. We have 4 and love to watch them all swim around together. We have 2 smaller ones and 2 older ones. Not aggressive at all towards any of our other fish. They are always out to be seen, but are not very active. If you have a large group I would make sure you have a larger tank. We had our 4 in the 90 gallon at first and they didn't stay as a group. Once they were put in the 200 they all got along. They eat both frozen and pellets without a problem.

We like how they stay together in a group and are always out to be seen. Very peaceful fish to watch and a great addition to any tank! Like that they are easy to keep and are a very affordable fish.

We didn't like that all 4 of our cardinals didn't get along at first, but now that they are in a bigger tank they seem to be fine. They weren't aggressive to each other, but just didn't stay close together. Nothing else has bothered us about these fish.

Love them!!!
Comments
I find this fish very easy to care for.
It will accept most foods, but I prefer to feed them pellets.
These fish are very hardy and look great in schools.

They are inexpensive, I picked mine up for $5 and they are totally worth the money.
Their colouration is different than any other fish out their and they add a great new aspect to any refftank.
Mine will eat pellets so I don't need to feed them any frozen food.

Wonderful fish
Comments
I have kept Pajamas for 15 years!
Their total length was 4.5 inches.
They are more active at night when your lights are off and will hide in low light areas during the day.

Great coloration, will eat all types of frozen sea food if the size is correct.

Do not see them much during the day.

The only thing I have noticed is they can be very timid if you have other more aggressive fish in the tank. |
