Use for tank cycling only...

These fish are very cute and colorful when you first buy them. Then they grow big, and their color fades to a dark blue and they harrass all new fish to death. Seriously, to death. My suggestion (if you are daring enough to even try them), is to only use them for cycling the tank. Then pull them out (can be exceedingly difficult) and bring them back to a pet store. They're cheap, so don't worry about the money. When pulling them out of the tank, I have the best luck using a clear glass mason jar with a net mostly covering the opening. Give them a couple days to get used to it and only feed inside the mason jar. Once they get used to going in and out, just close the net when they're inside and you're good to go.

Initial color, they are cheap, they will not die.

They will harass and kill your other docile fish. They will also dig up the substrate causing your liverock to topple over. They also hog the food during feeding times.

This is not a fish to cycle with!

These fish were once considered a good fish to have during your cycle, but its not the case. They grow to be incredibly aggressive and territorial and are better suited for an aggressive fish only tank.
