Mimic Tang (Acanthurus pyroferus)
|
Mimic tangs get their name by mimicing a number of different dwarf angels (Centropyge species). The Acanthurus pyroferus should not be confused with the Mimic Eibli Tang (Acanthurus tristis), but does include mimics of the heraldi, lemon peel, and half black dwarf angels. To about 8" in length, these fish are collected from various parts of the world.
