Convict Tang (Acanthurus triostegus)

One of the most peaceful Acanthurus species fish, the Convict tang is a schooling fish collected from the indo-pacific region. To about 8" in length, this is one of the better tangs for captivity.

Great addition and often overlooked

One of my favorite fish, and one of the few tangs likely to be housed together in a single tank. I've had a few over the years, and plan on adding 3-4 to my new system (~300 gallons). These fish are common, however commonly overlooked when folks are considering tangs for their tank. Great temperament and I'd recommend them for most any tank over 90 gallons.
