good skimmer for the size
| Installation and Operation |
The instructions are pretty clear. Yes it is easy to set up run in an intake set up or sump. I suppose if you are fitting into an all in one system you might run into clearance issues with the collection cup.

Great Skimmer

over all its a really great skimmer for nano tanks. I defiantly would buy another one if i had another nano tank set up. |

The amount of skimate it pulls out.
it is extremely quite. i had a redseamax skimmer before and now with them swapped and the tunze in. i couldnt be happier

Great nano skimmer
| General |
Pay attention to the recommended water level indicator on the side of the main skimmer housing. Not maintaining a proper sump water level will definitely affect skimmer performance. |

Easy to setup. Adjust the mounting bracket and drop the skimmer in.

best bang for the buck

If i set up another 29G I would incorporate this skimmer. |

For this size i don't think that it can be beat. It's discreet/almost hidden. virtually silent and doesn't leak bubbles into the display.

How water level dependent it really is. Plastic quality feels cheap but who cares if it works well.

Gem.

Can hardly see it in the tank, started producing skimmate in less than a week. Magnet mounts are easy and look clean. Aesthetically pleasing, Giant skimmer cup for its size. Have had no problems. From all I researched, was the best bang for the buck on my 29G reef.

Not the best, but not the worst

I am not aware of a better skimmer for a nano, but this is still by no means a great skimmer. |

Fits in the back of a 24 gallon nanocube, but you have to remove the hood.
Doesn't put any microbubbles in the tank. Huge improvement over an airstone driven skimmer.

It is EXTREMELY water level dependent. If you want it to work well be prepared to puchase an auto top off system as well. If you don't use the hood that comes with the tank, have a good auto top off, and have some patience this is the skimmer for you.
