Awesome skimmer!

Installation and Operation	Installation is a breeze! Pull it out of the box dunk it in plug everything up, and your cooking. Break in period was about 3 days for really nice skimmate. Instructions were great, nothing too complicated about putting it together. Its very easy to operate, it can be a little loud though. This skimmer has a great pump and paired with a maxi-jet 600 as its feed pump, is an awesome addition to your tank. Setup literally took me 5-6 minutes. It will need to be washed off a little every day. Salt creep attaches to the pump pretty readily. I guess its the small amounts of heat and vibration from the pump that keeps attracting the salts.
Performance vs. Expectations	This skimmer performs like no other I have owned. I love it, and I love the nasty froth it gets out of my tank! Its a clean cut skimmer with no burrs anywhere on the plastic. Coralvue outdid there selves with the Octopus line.
Value for money	If you are looking for a top of the line skimmer for a decent price. Octopus is the way to go. No skimmer can match the quality you get out of this for the money you pay. I give it two thumbs up.
Customer Support	I burnt out the pump by doing a mesh mod, well I contacted them and they sent me a new one free of charge. Great customer support, and an all around great product!
