Not the best skimmer, but there's definately worse

General

The Kent Nautilus skimmers actually aren't bad skimmers, there's definately worse skimmers out there. This was the first decent skimmer I put on my 54gal corner tank and it skimmed great. It pulled out some nasty nog that would clear the room whenever it came time to clean the colection cup. I picked mine up used, so I'm not sure about pricing. It would be a value at around $100 compared to others in that price range.

Liked about it	Skimmed great on a smaller tank. Kept my water clean and SPS happy. Collection cup is easily removed for cleaning.
Didn't like	Construction is not the best, could be made out of thicker components. The slide adjustment could be swapped for a better means to raise and lower the internal water level.

Not bad, but a real pain to adjust

Installation and Operation	The installation is straight forward, however, better instructions woul be benificial
Performance vs. Expectations	The product skims, It meets my expectations. I cannot see it being used on a tank up to 300 gallons though. Maybe 100 max
Value for money	low

Liked about it	I like the style and construction of the unit.
Didn't like	Poor plumbing design. Would be better to have the flow of water go straight into the chamber instead of through 3 elbows. the level is difficult to adjust within the chamber.
