Installation and Operation This is a very easy skimmer to set up and once you set it is will keep doing the work untill you unplug it. Performance vs. Expectations I have used this skimmer for several (about 4)years now, no mods, first on my 37G SPS reef w/5 fish, and now on my 45G frag tank. Water is clean corals are happy and growing. I think it is a key factor in the success I have had w/corals. Value for money Bought it used, cleaned it up and the quality was evident as soon as I plugged it in, so it was a great deal for me. I'd buy a new one if this one ever needs replacing. Customer Support Non needed, local LFS has parts. Liked about it Set it & forget it (you do have to remember to empty the cup). Quick easy adjustment to set it to skim wet or dry. Reliable consistant workhorse. Didn't like Wish the collection cup was larger. Report this review   Price: $0 to $0 Compare Prices at 0 stores Great for smaller tanks General A good skimmer for someone who has a smaller tank (I wouldn't suggest this on more than maybe 55gal or so) and needs a good performer with a small footprint that is largely "set and forget." Liked about it The skimmer performed well and did not take up a ton of space. The addition of a valve to fine-tune the air going into the skimmer was a really nice touch, I thought (even though it makes no sense to reduce the air going into this skimmer, IMHO). Didn't like I thought the pump on the skimmer was rather low-quality given other skimmer pumps out there. I know this is by no means a super-expensive skimmer, but the Sedra pump on mine was a bit noisy and had to be cleaned regularly to maintain good performance. You will need to have a sump to use it properly. but overall a very nice and well built product. Liked about it Produced Good skimmate on my smaller tank. I only ran it for a short time as I ended up tying this into my central system. Didn't like Didn't like the adjustment. I am spoiled by Gate Valves!
