Performed poorly for me, the venturi design is quite dated. Would be better as a needle wheel skimmer i think. Had better results with my HOT Octopus.

Surface skimming attachment has to be purchase separately, performs poorly with the maji jet. Had better results. I think an included surface skimming attachment and needle wheel pump would make this skimmer a LOT better.
