Once it dials in you will forget about the hassle of readjusting. It will requires you to clean the collection cup to keep it as its best performance. Need the use of Auto wast Collector. Performance vs. Expectations - Skimmer is definitely perform as advertised. Works best with maximum of an 180gal. - I recommend using 18-Mag drive over 12-Mag. ( with the use of ball valve to control the flow) the reason for that the skimmer will have more contact time which will lead to more protein skimming. Value for money The price is kind of expensive. But Its definitely the best investment i did to my tank. Customer Support Never had to deal with issues with the skimmer. Liked about it 1- Easy to adjust. It only took 48hr to dial in. 2- JG Fitting to run either( excess Co2 tubing to eliminate it from lowering Ph, Ozone, Air pump to reduce Co2). 3- Pulls the stinkiest protein and keeps the tank clean. Didn't like I just dont like the price, other than that its the best skimmer I've ever had. Liked about it Quality construction and skims well. Very easy to empty collection container in tight spaces. Didn't like Dialing it in is hard and I had to overdrive it with a mag18. It is very sensitive to any oils/hands in the water. It also took a week until I started getting good a good skim from it.
