I would not spend the money on this skimmer. Money can spent for much better units. |

The price was good for entry level reef equipment. I did like the fact that you could place the skimmer in sump, out of sump ( hang on) or hang on tank. The pump was good also.

Overall the skimmer never did perform consistently for me. It had a habit of overflowing regularly with no known cause. I tried in sump and out of sump and it just didn't get any better. The skimmer is made from extruded acrylic and is very thin and brittle.

Good starter skimmer

Simple design, hang on tank so no sump needed, pump does all the work. this is a great skimmerfor any starter tank in the 50-90 gallon range.
