I have one of these for my CPR overflow. It traps large debris and keeps any life from falling down my drain hose. I cut a hole on the top of the screen so I could put some surgical tubing to vent the drain line.

Keeps livestock from getting sucked down the drain. It also quiets down my overflow as well.

Good for the job!

Keeps stuff out of pumps and keeps animals where they belong. I run several of these on my system. They work well for me. Just need to keep them clean!
