I recently used this in my BioCube to increase the flow from my Maxi-Jet 1200. It worked too well for that tank and I ended up replacing it. For a BioCube it took a little messing with to get it hooked up since that tank isn't exactly designed for the threaded end. However, on a standard tank the threads would work well.
I was able to add several "links" to it to make it more flexible. By doing this I was able to more precisely aim it. Without extra links it's limited.
I would buy this again but not for a BioCube.

I like it. I was very easy to integrate into my new setup, however depending on how an existing setup is, it might be more difficult.

It definitely does increase the flow in the tank. Has some directionality to it.

Needs to be more flexible. Cant direct it more than 35 - 40 degrees.
