I love them

They are so much easier than bulkheads. I was Leary that they could hold water but now I am seeing the skimmer and reactor manufactures are using them in pressurized application. I use them on plumbing for my top off tank and mixed salt water. I have never had a leak with them I use them on both flat a curved surfaces and have to say that I am very impressed with these little guys. Before drilling a hole for these be sure to check the size required. The hole you drill is slightly larger than the PVC you will be using.

Easy to install & insert pipe!
Make sure you use the correct size hole saw!
I've used them on the last 4 skimmers I've built and I wouldn't use anything else.

Very difficult to remove the pipe once you insert it. Make sure you do not push it in too far!
