I bought this from AquaCave as a kit, however, each compound is also sold individually. This is a three step process which will remove a minor to moderate scratch on an acrylic surface. I used on the outside of the tank only and I am not sure if it is reef or saltwater safe.
The number three compound is used for the moderate scratches and the compound is applied at a right angle to the scratch after some serious rubbing the scratch will diminish then on to compound two.
The number two compound is for the minor scratches and swirl marks left on acrylic surfaces after many cleanings with a magnet cleaner. To use apply the compound on a rag and cover the acrylic in a circular motion (wax on wax off kind of thing.) I used a machine polisher with a fluffy pad VERY gently to rub in the compound. as the compound dries it will leave a clean streak free acrylic then onto polishing.
This is a very simple process and is applied like cleaning glass.
