Does not harm corals. Only works on stage 3 of the Cryptocaryon life cycle (Marine Ich). Tomites the free swimmer stage which only lasts about 1-2 days until they need to find host and reattatch and start the cycle over again. So it is recommended to use for an extended period. Copper treatments work the best if you can quarantine.

I've used this product a cpl of times in a 65 gallon reef tank I had. I did see an improvement in my fish and I had no damage to my corals or iverts but I had to go through 2 bottles before the ick was completely gone.
I do have a bottle here on hand just in case my 150 comes down with ick. The options for ick treatments in a reef tank are really limited so this option does work just buy extra. |

The product is made to kill the free swimming form of ich. However it was sold to me as a treatment for ich. I really dont understand why someone would want to buy this product... by the time they know that they have ich they would want to treat the fish for the actual parasite. In order to treat ich copper medications work best for most people and while you can use this in the display tank to kill the free swimming ich, a few weeks of time will also do the same thing. IMO you can save money by not buying it but you MAY be able to save some time. |

Seems to be working!!
| Comments |
I was very cautious about trying this, but after losing a few clown fish to Ich, I had to give it a try. On the second dose, all spots have gone away on the fish. I will continue to use as directed, and hope for the best. All corals and inverts are doing fine.

Don't have to remove fish for treatment. Having to remove the fish for "treatment" imo is more of a stress causing factor than anything else.
Reef safe!!

Ended up needing 2 bottles to fill the treatment days.
