Yes the product performed as it said. I cleared the cloud eye on my PinkSpot Goby. Unfortunatly it killed all my inverts within 12hrs of dosing. I even under dosed. I was told by my LFS that it can be used right in my DT with out using a hospital tank. I did that but it killed my Cleaner shrimp, Blue Coral Banded Shrimp and my Peppermint shrimp all were over 6 months old. Tank has been set up for over 2 years. I called API and it took them over 3 weeks to call me back. All the tech rep told me when they called me back was "ummmm I just don't know" he was of no help.

As good as advertised for open, unknown ulceration

I have used this product in the past to treat open ulcerations of unknown origin in my fish utilizing a q-tank. This product was utilized in conjunction with Pimafix and is a "reef-safe" alternative to using copper. I would *not* recommend using this product openly in the display. There is an overall "blue" tint of the water when treating in this manner and the water has a "mentholatum" smell immediately.
After one dose and five days, the fish which were administered this medication showed visible healing and little effects of the previous wound. All fish recovered fully and have, over time, shown no ill effects of either the disease or the treatment. While this medication, to it's own admission, is not a cure-all and according to publication in well-known hobby monthly publications, is a mystery regarding it's active ingredients, it is relatively inexpensive and seems to be a safer alternative to copper. Use at your own risk however. |

The instructions were fairly forward and easy to administer. The product packaging is clean and easy to understand and not possibly be mistaken for another bottle in the home inventory by accident.
