Helpful gloves in certain situations featured

Comments I like these gloves for certain times. Salt water really dries out my skin in the winter and I've tried just using latex gloves but once they get under the water it just rushes in and I might as well not have them on. My hands were so try I got painful splits in my skin.

A pair of these was on sale for just a few dollars so I got them. They are long, going up nearly to my elbows and that's plenty long enough to keep my skin dry.

I do like the fact that they also keep me safe from nipping fish or stinging bristle worms, though the truth is I've never had a problem with such things. Because of that these only come out every now and then when I'm really getting into the tank, I don't wear them for daily stuff.

That being said, I am still glad I got them and glad that I have them around just in case. I actually recommend everyone get a pair for those times they need to mess with areas of the tank that might harbor bristle worms or if you are going to be messing with rough or sharp pieces of your rock.

They are really well built and I have a feeling they will last for a decade or more without replacement. I've had my pair for 4 years now and they still look pretty much brand new.

I don't believe they are for delicate work that requires a gentle touch the rubber is far too thick for that. I would not use them for fragging, for example, that seems just silly.

Liked about it 1. Long enough to protect your whole arm.
2. Very durable and well made.

Didn't like 1. Thick rubber reduces feeling.

Kinda useless. featured

Comments I have these do I use them? Sometimes but only when my wife asks me to. They are bulky and hard to feel anything through them.
I do use them sometimes but most of the time they are just an inconvenience. I did not buy them. They came free in a order I places with a online retailer. The most use I got from them was when I was treating some live rock with muratiac acid.
Other than that they are just not that useful to me.

to get these glove and pout them on every time you touch a coral would be expensive and is just not practical. If your going to be moving lots of rocks around and or have a large open wound on your have they would be useful at that point but stupid me I would probably still be reaching into my tank with a dozen stitches in my hand :)

Liked about it I got them for free so that was a plus.
They are long. It's hard to fund gloves that long.
They are Tunze. I do like Tunze products.

Didn't like They are just not all that useful. If I drop something and need to fish it out of the tank I will just reach in and grab it!
