The fact that you can clean your glass without gitting your arm wet. You can use it to mix the sand as well. The different blades allow you to use on glass as well as acilic tanks. Without the blade the wond has many other uses, stirring water, decompacting substrait,

The fact that when handell does become wet it is very slick,

Great tool that outshines the others

Once I got one of these, that was the last scraper I purchased. Nice thing is, the blades are replaceable. The initial price seems kind of high, $21 where I am, but once you get over that...you realize that it was totally worth the money. This is a tool that is well made and that you will not need to replace for years, if ever, just the occasional blade replacement.

Great Maintenance Tool

Perfoms better that expected.
Price is higher than disposable brushes.
Great value for price.

Great for large acrylic tanks.
The Aqua Mop is a must have to clean acrylic, mop heads can be cleaned with bleach and water for reuse.
Long handle allows me to clean tank without placing hands in tank.
Glass scraper is great for coraline algae.

It scrapes...

Performs as advertised, but I ended up ditching it for my hard scrubbing sponge.

Makes it easy to get to the bottom of the tank and scrape. Blades are easy to change.

Blades bend easily, and I think it just takes more effort to scrape thoroughly with this thing than it does to stick your hand in the tank with a sponge or razor blade.

Good product for your money!

Its a great concept and it keeps your hands out of your system. The scraper is nice to get to that back wall of the aquarium and get any major growth off without a problem. Not too crazy about the aqua mop....but I guess its good for algae. |

Scraper

Have not found one better, but this does a pretty good job of getting down to the bottom. Sometimes the angle of the bend prohibits it from getting the hard to reach corners, though it is still better than reaching in by hand. Replacements blades are pricey, but last for months. |

Ok product
| General |
Good length for removing coralline algae from the lower portions of glass in deeper tanks. Blade is prone to bending and dulling rather quickly. When it does it makes the scraper much less effective. |

Moderately effective against corraline
| General |
As stated, the length is nice for scraping corraline off the glass however, the blade is prone to bending if too much force is used. If this occurs, it makes the whole item highly ineffective as a whole. |
