Not all brushes are created equal

I thought I would save money and get some bottle brushes from Walmart. The bristles were not firm enough to clean off the kind of stuff our aquarium equipment collects. My local fish store had these brushes on sale so I got them. They are well made and firm enough to do the job. It's funny, it seems like any old brush would do the trick, but it makes sense to get ones that are actually made specifically to do what you want to use them for.
