Those that recommend using regular window cleaners on tanks extremely misinformed.
The only advantage they may offer over this product is that they are cheaper.
I maintain dozens of public aquariums and use this dozens of times a day and find it to be a superior product.

It is completely safe, I have seen it sprayed into aquariums with no ill effect.
It does not harm acrylic like windex
It cuts through finger prints and other common crud better than windex without leaving smudges
It has a built in wax that helps resist smudging and finger prints.
This wax also helps magnet cleaners slide more easily which is always nice.
You need much less when compared to windex/ windex style cleaners

It is rather expensive, especially when buying from LFS with a higher mark up but you need to use less when compared to windex so it helps a little. It is still rather costly. Worth every penny in my opinion.

Does what it says, and it is safe, but not worth the money

My daughter uses this to clean her hermit crab tank. Me, I risk using regular window cleaner on the outside of my tank, I just spray it on a cloth first, but my daughter is so careful she won't use anything that isn't safe for the animals, just in case.
It does a great job cleaning and there's no indication that it isn't safe after repeated uses. However, for price you pay for this versus regular window cleaner the bottle should be three times as large. If what you are looking for is peace of mind though, it's worth the extra money but for me, I will continue to use regular window cleaner and just be careful with it.
