I received this product for free but it is reasonably priced. There are some general use sponges that would likely perform nearly as well but they may have chemical treatments so I stick with this.

It is safe for acrylic.
Washes out easily and holds together well.

Good product and more bang for your buck then the smaller verision. |

It Gets the job done the extra size is cheeper then buying the smaller version plus you can cut it in smaller peices if you like having a smaller squre. Removes the light stuff from your acrylic tank. But dont plan on it removing your coralline.

Be careful not to pick up any sand in the tank when getting to the bottom of the tank i have made some scraches because of this but with care you shouldnt have that problem.
