great electronic ballast, I've been very impressed featured

Installation and Operation I use the equivalent 250W ballast for my main lighting, and this has been an amazing ballast over the last 6 months that I've used it. They are easily compatible with any 400W bulb and pendant. They have great output, fire up without issue, provide consistent results, and don't get too warm when in use. I'm very satisfied with this ballast.

Performance vs. Expectations This unit fires up quickly and provides a great output. I've been very pleased with the performance, and I don't see that changing. I've had these running for many months now and, if other reports are to be believed, I can expect to get years out of this unit.

Value for money While these arent terribly cheap, they do work very well and should give you a very long working life. It is a bit of an investment, but in my opinion they are a good value.

Liked about it First, these are very straight forward ballasts. If you're using sunlight supply pendants or reflectors, they should just plug right in. If you don't have that brand, you can get an adapter chord which will make installation a breeze. They do stay pretty cool when on, and they've not given me any reason to be disappointed. They're a great ballast.

Didn't like Nothing too critical about these ballasts. My first thought may be the weight, but in most applications that won't be a big issue. It would be nice if it came with a generic chord for any application. While you can cut off the end of the factory plug, there's very little length to it and I find it's better to use the adapter (at a cost). In general, though, this has been a great ballast for me.
