Much longer than the stock harness but not cheap featured

Installation and Operation There really is nothing special about this harness. It replaces the stock 660 harness. And it's much longer. It does have a pre wired 3 prong 110v plug on it so if your not comfortable wiring 110v you can but this harness when you wire your 660.
15 feet is a great length. Much longer than the stock 6 footer
Instillation of this products varies by application. For me I needed a harness for a used ballast I purchased. So I wired it as if it were new. See my review on the Icecap 660 ballast for more information of instillation of the ballast.

If you were to ever need to replace a harness for something like a frayed wire or something like that you could simply unplug your existing harness, Cut your old harness wire at the end caps leaving a foot or so then simply match the color and wire nut the new harness in place.

Performance vs. Expectations This product performed better then expected for me. When I purchased it I did not realize the 3 prong plug was pre-wired. That was bonus for me and the instillation a little quicker

Value for money At $50++ it's way overpriced! The stock harness is only about $20.
Unless you need the extra length get a 6 foot stock harness.
If you need a longer harness you can also just get the 6 foot extension for about $20 and you have 12 feet then.

Customer Support I have never dealt with Icecap regarding this product but have spoke with them on many occasion on different products. They are top notch. Will to take the time to really help the customer out.

Liked about it Works with all Icecap 660 ballasts.
Direct replacement for the stock harness.
Pre-wired plus is great!
Icecfap Quality and service.

Didn't like The price. If you need a longer harness just but the extension for $20 and you will have 12 feet.

good harness, better than building something featured

Installation and Operation The wiring harness isnt terribly long, so if you need a bit more space I'd highly recommend getting the extension harness as well. I also don't prefer using solid wire (compared to braided), but I understand why Icecap uses the solid line. It's just hard to manipulate. Overall, it takes a bit of work to get everything wired up properly, but the product works well once that's completed.

Performance vs. Expectations In terms of performance, it works exactly as expected. Great output and good life, I've been very satisfied with this ballast in the 3 years I had it in use. This wiring harness has been critical to my setup.

Value for money This is kind of hard to judge, as the Icecap ballast overdrives T5 bulbs, which is unique. I'm not familiar with a more versatile ballast, and as a result I'd say it has a great value for the money.

Customer Support Icecap has been a great company to work with. I have had wiring harness issues before, but with the warranty it's nice to have them be so responsive.

Liked about it Good length as many uses require more than the 6' harness. Plug and play, which is nice.

Didn't like In combination with the extension harness, I've had pins push out of the molex plug. That left me with a nice burn in my thumb when I touched a hot wire. Icecap was very receptive and fixed it promptly.

Great for a plug and play set

Installation and Operation This product is very easy to install, it is longer than most harnesses which is good because you have plenty of room to put the ballast and make a drip loop and things like that.

Performance vs. Expectations For me this harness has performed great with no problems so far, it's a very easy plug and play harness that is great for people who aren't great with wiring.

Liked about it This harness is great for a plug and play kit, it is very long which makes it easy to work with, and it is great for people who aren't great at working with wires.

Didn't like I have had no problems with this product yet, but if I do I will come back and edit this review, but so far so good.
