Great bang for the buck

Installation and Operation	These light strips are intended to be mounted to a hood, but I easily used wire ties to attach them to my existing T5HO fixtures. There is no on/off switch, so it's plugged in or not. This wasn't a problem for me because I just hooked them up to a controller. They are supposedly rated to last 50,000 hours, so there shouldn't be any maintenance for 10 years or more.
Performance vs. Expectations	I couldn't believe how much light these small strips gave off. I have a 30" X 30" X 24" cube tank, and two of these strips are more than adequate to light my tank. They add a really cool shimmer effect too. My favorite part is they barely get warm to the touch. I don't think these will add any heat to the tank.

Liked about it	1) Very bright. Each strip adequately lights a 30" X 15" X 24" section of my tank. 2) They add a very cool shimmer effect. 3) They do not add much heat.
Didn't like	1) They were fairly expensive compared to T5/T5HO. 2) Only really designed to mount to a hood. Any other mounting will require some modification.
