Simple installation and works as expected! 
| Installation and Operation |
I don't have the DIY skills with electricity and wanted something that looked nice and would be easy to install. This 48" fixture was easy to place on top of my 75 gallon tank and only took 5 minutes to unbox, set timers, and turn on. Because the actincs, whites, and moon LED's are on different switches it was easy to setup on timers to simulate dawn and dusk and night. The fish love it and look more colorful under this lighting versus the retrofit setup I had purchased the tank with. It also looks nicer sitting on the legs versus hanging from the ceiling. I have about 20 soft corals and some bubble corals and after a couple months growth has been great.

| Performance vs. Expectations |
It has performed exactly as expected and I couldn't be happier with it. It's simple, easy, and fish and coral are doing great under it. Because it has four bulbs you can add as many colored bulbs as you like. Mine came with two actincs and it looks fantastic.

Under $300 and I can't complain. It doesn't have the intensity or shimmer effect of MH or LED but for under $300 and no electrical skills it's been a great value!

I love the value.
The seperate switches for bulbs and moon LED's makes setting up timers awesome.
Ease of installation is fantastic.
Looks nice on top of the tank.

No shimmer effect but that's an issue of T5 versus MH or LED.
I don't think it will be intense enough for hard corals like acropora but I haven't tried.
Size will only fit this size of tank so when I upgrade it won't do me any good.

I like the individua cords, this alows me to put them all on there own timers.
I like the output of light it is very bright.
I love that this light does not get hot, as i was worried about this with some of the other brands.
