For the type of tank I had this was the perfect light. If only keeping soft corals, this light worked well over a smaller tank. It is compact, gives off a good amount of light, and was very easy to install.

The bulbs do need to be replaced often and heat was a factor. It would be nice to include another fan or two.

Great refugium light
| General |
I bought this light for my 10 gallon refugium and I love it. I get great growth from my macro-algae. People are always shocked at the growth I get. I beleive its from the light. |

Great for small tanks
| General |
I have two of these lights (one is currently a backup) and I use is on a 20+ gallon nano. It has successfully kept corals and an anemone without any life sustainability issues. |

Size, price, fit... No temperature issues due to the light.

Fans are kind of cheap. Replacing the bulb can be a pain after a year of use.

Great fixture for nano tanks
| General |
This is an awesome little fixture that fits perfectly over a 10 gallon tank. I provides alot of punch to keep a wide variety of soft and LPS corals. Fan cooled and easy to setup and use. |

Good light for the price
| General |
This is a very good light for the experienced reef keeper along with beginners. I have had two of them and had no trouble at all with either one of them. you can grow corals perfectly and they have the built in fans to keep cool. I even dropped it in the water, let it dry out for a day or two and plugged it back in and it worked perfectly. A very good light for the price. |
