Huge difference from CF. Great Upgrade for 12g Aquapod.
Installation and Operation
Installation is a breeze. You basically have to remove 4 screws to add the supports and then tighten them down with the supplied screws. The instructions leave a lot to be desired but in reality you can just look at the unit and figure it out. One power switch for both lamps, so you just have 1 cord to deal with.

About 30 minutes after installation I could tell my softies liked the light. They also look much brighter and just the overall appearance of the tank lighting is amazing. I know have light in those little nooks that the CF just could not light up. The biggest difference to me and the most important is how the corals reacted. My anemone just went crazy. It went from the top of the tank to the bottom of the tank and opened up very nicely. The thing is actually bigger then I thought it was since it is fully spread out now.

Value for money
I payed $89 for the unit at the LFS. I found them a bit cheaper online but once you consider the shipping it was just cheaper to buy it from the LFS. You could get a better deal if you found a place with free shipping but good luck with that. To me it is well worth the money because the critters in my tank are responding well.

Customer Support
The only contact I had with the company is when I called to register the product. The were very polite and even sent me a catalog and 2 free replacement bulbs. I was very impressed.

The corals responded beautifully to the light. Like I mentioned before the anemone responded very well and has opened up beautifully. The mushrooms have gone crazy. The have split several times and when they settled down to a suitable home little ones started popping up everywhere. They kenya tree responded well and it now appears like it is going to start dropping limbs. My star polyps where pretty much the first responders. They all opened up and they were the first to really start growing. My other polyps started multiplying as well. My clarkii looks a whole lot better as well. It really brought out the colors of everything in the tank. This light is amazing and I would recommend it to anybody with a 12g aquapod.

Nothing bad about the light. You will notice quicker evaporation out of the tank with the canopy gone but it is not bad at all. Without the canopy I am sure the levels of oxygen in my tank have improved greatly.

Great nano light!
Installation and Operation
This light came out of the box with the legs detached and the light bulbs out. It was pretty easy to put it all together, but if you still have trouble with it, there is an instructions pamphlet. The light ran great. My zoas in my 10gal loved them.

This thing went above and beyond. I have dropped it into my tank multiple times........... and all it does is flicker. After you drain all the water out and let it sit off for an hour or two the thing works like a charm.

Only 18 inches. I thought that was the light bulb length, but it is the light fixture length, so you may need to do some tweaking if you were planning on putting this onto a standard 10gal. (which is 20 inches)
