This product does preform as advertised. However in my personal experince these bulbs tend to have to be replaced more often than other form of lighting.

Nice and bright.....

I have read that PC bulbs start to loose their effectiveness after 6 months. I have had my Coralife fixture for just 9 months now. The old bulbs were still in working condition but I decided to replace them.

I like the compact design.
Very easy to replace these bulbs.
They are quite bright. My brother commented that the tank looked "very Hi-Def"

I feel that these bulbs are a little expensive.
They do run a little hot. But I think that has little to do with the bulb manufacturer, more the nature of a PC fixture.
