This bulb has great output, but I find that it is at the expense of coloration. The bulb itself is well made and easy to install, conforming to the T5 standard that is expected. The life of the bulb is good and I've not had any issue with any of the GE line of T5 bulbs (having tried many of them over the years).

Liked about it

PAR output of this bulbs is superior to most others. While the 6500K color is a bit yellow, it will output a high amount of usable light that may be well appreciated if you're in the market of growing frags in lieu of lighting a display. The bulb life is good and I've not had any issues with using this product. It is also typically a bit cheaper than higher kelvin bulbs from other manufacturers, so if costs are a concern this is a good choice.

Didn't like

What I don't care for is the color. For a small sacrifice in performance (usually under 20% of the PAR output), you can use bulbs in the 12k-15kK range that are far more pleasing to the eye. If you don't care about that, this is a good bulb to use, but I think you'd be disappointed otherwise.
