Good for a old fixture that you have laying around. Go ahead and put this bulb over your sump and grow some Chaeto to keep you nutrients down.

good output, bad color
| General |
These bulbs have some of the highest PAR outputs for T5s, but at a sacrifice in color. If you prefer a whiter/bluer coloration, the 10000-14000K bulbs can provide 90% of the PAR output, so it's hard to justify these daylight bulbs. I've never experienced better coral growth as a result of using these bulbs. |
