While these bulbs have good PAR output, the color leaves a lot to be desired. I bought this on a recommendation that it brings more of the red colors out in the tank, but I didnt much care for it. The tank is smothered in a red hue, a far cry from the white/blue look I prefer. If it was more subtle, I could see the appeal, but the 1 bulb I added to my bank of 8 T5s was too much.

Great PAR output; if you're looking for something just for growth, these may be a good choice.

Simply the color. Way too red/yellow for me. I think it washes out some of the fluorescence of many corals, but it probably accentuates the reds if that's what you're looking for.
