The product does perform well, and the color is very good. This product is a good value for the money. I have had the coralife brand before and they are so cheap, the top on the coralife actually fell off! (so I could not plug it in anymore). Provides good color with the 460 has a nice blue look.

1)When first turned on one side of the tank is brighter than the other for 10 mins or so, but nothing too major.

A little blue but a nice actinic

All in all not a bad actinic bulb but there are better on the market |

They are not as blue as some other actinics
the corals really POP under these
