Good actinic color

This bulb was all I expected and more. It had a way better actinic color than the power compacts it replaced. I had some corals that were glowing that never have before. They actually were a litlle brighter than I was even expcting and I might have to get a "whiter" metal halide next time to balance it out. But I don't consider this a negative because I wanted the flourecent properties to be enhanced more, which is exacyely what it does.

These are a good quality bulb, at a very fair market price.

The only 1 thing I didn't like was that it didn't make my Orange/blue Ricordia "glow" as much as the old dual actinic power compacts.

Nice color, quality bulb

Overall, this bulb has been doing a very good job as supplemental lighting over my reef tank. |
