I have seen complaints about the color, but XM offers higher color temps for that if that's what you want. I will keep using these until I find a very good reason to change. Liked about it Well made bulb, always starts, great color and growth in my tank with 2 of these. Also I am happy with the heat output, I have not needed a chiller running these on a system with over 200 gallons of water. Didn't like All MH bulbs use lots of power. I wish they used less, but that's just what you expect when using this type of lighting. LED is coming up in the aquaruim world, but will cost way more to produce this much light, so until the price of LED comes down I will keep using these. Good Growth though! And it did not seem to encourage algae growth as much.
