Try it, just have 5 other bulbs to balance the color. It wouldn't buy it again because my 4bulb fixture could balance the color. |

The color is very purple. My bird nest transformed into a VERY pink color after this bulb was running. I think anyone with a 6 bulb fixture should defiantly give it a try. A 2 or 4 bulb fixture may get washed out by purple/pink coloring, like I witnessed in my setup.

Color was almost over powering and it is TOO strong for a 4 bulb fixture; it would benifit any one with a 6+ bulb fixture in my opinoin.
