What a difference it made!

Bought this light to replace a metal halide that was too old and man does it make a big difference! I was told at the store that the ReefLux MH bulbs are opposite from the usual MH color spectrum. Meaning the 20K bulb is more white and the 12K is more blue to the eye, so I went with the 20K bulb to offset the blueness of my actinic lights and I am very pleased. My corals are happy as well! After about a month we have have seen color improvement and more growth than with the old light. We did shade our tank for 2 weeks to allow the corals to adjust to the new bulb which should be done anytime a new bulb is added. When it is time to replace our other two MHs we will be buying more ReefLux for sure!

Light color.....makes my tank not be too blue
