One of my favorite anemones! featured

Comments This is by far one of my favorite anemoens! They can get very large so keep that in mind if thinking about buying one.
They can easily turn any large fish into a meal and all too often the fish just get comfortable with these anemoens and get too close. Available in many colors with white, green and red being the most common. I really love the long flowing tentacles. In a tank with lots of flow I love to watch them flowing back and forth in the current. Great for just about any clown fish the long tentacles provide a very safe home for the clowns hosting.

I have found that they prefer living in the sand and do especially well when hosting a clown. Even of it is hosting I suggest at least weekly feeding of large meaty foods.

reasonably priced and easily available these are very popular anemones.
Please do your research before buying one. They do require a very mature tank with powerful lighting.

Liked about it They are very fun to watch especially in a high flow tank. I love the way they flow back and forth.
Pretty hardy and easy to keep in a mature system I would not keep in a tank less than one year old. .
Available in a few different colors.

Didn't like They can and will get large very fast and will eventually develop an appetite for fish in your tank!

Awesome Anemone

Comments This is my favorte anemone. I have had bubble tips but this more is much more elegant. It looks amazing with its long flowing tentacle. They are aggressive and will sting other corals and fish. It also requiers supplemental feedings.

Liked about it I love the look of this corals. With a small wave flow the tentacles seem to dance. They are also great for clowns. Mine can hide entirely in it and pop his head in and out.

Didn't like They can move. It is definately not a begginer coral. They will attach and float about the tank several times searching for the right spot. This can be a problem for corals in its way that will get stung.

Buyer be Prepared

Comments Anemones should only be tried if you have an established tank. They are one of the easier anemones to care for but are still difficult. They can move and when they do they will sting corals in the way.

Liked about it I have a pair of black perculas which host in the anemone. The tentacles are nice and long and the base stays in the sand bed. Comes in different colors of green, purple, and brown.

Didn't like May move and quick to change if water quality changes.
