Installation and Operation	Installation is easy, as any typical in tank heater.
Performance vs. Expectations	I have two of the 300 watt heaters. Both worked well for a few months with fairly accurate temperature settings. However after about 3 months I had to gradually adjust the temp down and now both 300 watt heaters are turned down to 67 degrees, yet maintain 76 degrees. DO NOT TRUST THESE HEATERS, unless you want to risk cooking your fish! Now I only use them to heat up the make up water for water changes.
Value for money	Not really.
Customer Support	Not exactly, but I did a review on Foster and Smith Aquatics (where one was purchased) and it wasn't published. Foster and Smith emailed me back and forth a few times and told me that the heaters needed to be in the aquarium 2 hours before they were turned on. I'm a professional engineer and this is BS! This would only be relevant to thermal shock and the 5 degree difference between the temp of my house and my aquarium is negligible for any thermal shock issues.

Liked about it	1. Attractive appearance. 2. Graduated dial showing the set temperature. 3. Very accurate for about 3 months.
Didn't like	1. After 3 months you risk cooking your fish. 2. After 3 months you risk cooking your fish. 3. After 3 months you risk cooking your fish.

A decent heater for the money but they do not last

General

These "Theo" heaters do the trick but only for a short time. I have had the 100w 150w 250w and 400w.

I am currently using the 400w in my salt mix tank. I do not use it for lone periods of time. Just turn it on a day before a WC to get the ASW up to temp. This is why it has lasted longer than others.
