Installation is a snap. Just hang from the side of the aquarium.

I had one of these heaters fry after about a year. It basically nuked my daughters tank. When I went to feed the fish, they were all gone but 1. The water temp was near 100 degrees.

I now pass on inexpensive heaters. Not worth the risk.
