I have 3 of this particular size heater for both of my small tanks and for use in a bucket with my water change water. They work great and are reliable. I would definitely get another one if I needed more. |

Made of shatterproof plastic with a water sensor to prevent it from running when out of the water. I didn't think much of this until I put a glass heater that I had pulled out back into a tank without thinking and it exploded. These heaters a consistent, safe and are made of black plastic which is nice if they are in the display.

Stealth is a solid choice

this heater is bulletproof in my 55g. with auto shut off when it's out of water, and the spot on temp control, it's all you need in a heater. it does get annoying after a couple year the suction cups will stop sticking to the glass ass they loose there shape so mine is held in place by the decor now. all in all, an excellent heater for the money, however, you ought to pull them out every 6 months and soak in vinegar and work the temp setting back and forth a few times or else it'll start to get stuck in position (hard to adjust with two fingers reaching into a tank. |

Great heater
| General |
I have used this heater in my 38 gallon mixed reef for over a year now and never had a single problem with it. These are great heaters for the price that you pay. |

Auto shut off when water level is low(during water change) so you don't burn the holders like you do with the glass tube heaters.

small tank heater

I bought this heater for my 15g mini reef. I like that it's black and I can't really see it . I placed it in the corner . With a small tank you don't want a lot of things sticking down in the tank .The heater has been pin point accurate.I wanted the tank 2 degrees hotter . I turned the dial to 78 . It stopped right on 78 . I'm very pleased with this 100w heater . |
